New Israeli Nuclear Submarines

   Israel is quietly developing a submarine force carrying nuclear-armed cruise missiles in their quest to be able to defend themselves from an Iranian nuclear strike.

If you look at the situation that they are in you can't blame them. They are doing everything that they can possibly do in order to protect from the possibility of the expected strike from Iran. They know beyond a doubt that the minute the Iranians acquire a nuclear weapon that it will be fired at Israel.

Germany is also footing much of the cost of the submarine program. Three more boats are waiting to be built, although Chancellor Angela Merkel has demanded Israel halt its expansion of settlements on the West Bank as a condition of delivery of the sixth and final vessel.
